Corrections & Sourcing Policy

Case: Unrested is sources-first. We separate what’s documented from what’s claimed — and we label uncertainty clearly.

How we source

  • Primary sources first when available (court documents, official statements, public records).
  • Reputable reporting is used with attribution, and we avoid repeating unverified claims as fact.
  • Rumor stays rumor unless it can be corroborated by documentation.

Corrections

If we’ve made a mistake, we want to fix it. Corrections are part of doing this responsibly.

  • We will update the post with a clear note describing what changed and why.
  • We won’t quietly rewrite key facts without acknowledging the edit.
  • If something can’t be verified, we’ll say so.

Send a correction or source

Use Submit a Case to send corrections, documents, or credible sources. Please include links and, if possible, screenshots or document titles so we can locate the original record.

We do not publish private information. Please do not send doxxing, rumors, or unverified accusations.
